So many brave Men and Women gave their Life Serving Their Country and having a Memorial honoring their service is an example of true American Patriotism. Keep up the awesome work and if there is anything I can do to help just let Me know. I always enjoy reading web pages like these because they celebrate the True American Spirit. My Dad returned alive and well from The Vietnam War, but so many others do not. It is nice to see a Memorial that says You May have passed from this Earth, but You are not forgotten and NEVER WILL BE FORGOTTEN!!!!God Bless America!!!Mike Kara(630) 910-3481mikekarapresents@msn.comhttp://mkp.on.to Name: Marc O Location: LP, IN E-mail: splash0101@hotmail.com Comments: Is this the best way to spend the peoples money in your opinion? I am a die hard pacifist, but I certainly would rather see money going to armor or care packages for the soldiers lucky to be with us still. I appreciate your efforts as a citizen but hope we can direct our funds elsewhere, because those dead would rather we help their living friends than martyr them in granite. The people of Willow Springs know your charitable nature and your firm resolve when it comes to helping others. My remark may be labeled \"political\" but here it goes....The only people who have sacrificed for this war are all our men & women in harm\'s way, our fallen soldiers, those that have been kidnapped/killed for this U.S. endeavor, and the restless souls of the families they have left behind. If our government would acknowledge these heros with a monument at this time, maybe the families could find some peace in the fact that WE CARE-that we WILL NOT FORGET-as they will never forget the loved ones lost.Good Luck, Mitch, & stand firm.
